Shopping Areas in the Region:
The Oakdale Mall at Harry L Drive and Reynolds Road in Johnson City is anchored by: Sears, J.C. Penney, the Bon-Ton, Macy’s, and Burlington Coat Factory. Other stores include: Abercrombie & Fitch, Aeropostale, American Eagle, Bath and Body Works, Deb, Eddie Bauer, Gap, Hollister, NY & Company, Victoria’s Secret, Yankee Candle, and many more. There are also several restaurants in the Mall and nearby. Just outside the Oakdale Mall are Gander Mountain, Raymour & Flannigan Furniture, The Christmas Tree Shop, Party City and Petco.
The Vestal Parkway in Vestal has several shopping centers.
Town Square Mall at Vestal Parkway and Sycamore Road features a A.C. Moore, Barnes & Noble, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Fashion Bug, Hallmark Cards, Pet Depot, Sam’s Club, T.J. Maxx, Van Cott Jewelers, Wal-Mart Super center and more. Restaurants include Old Country Buffet, Pizzeria Uno, and TGI Fridays. Lowe’s Home Improvement Center is located across the street from Sam’s Club.
Parkway Plaza at Rano Boulevard includes major chains: Bed, Bath & Beyond, Kohl’s, Lane Bryant, Men’s Wearhouse, Outback Steakhouse, Pet Smart and Target.
The Shoppes at Vestal is just west of the Town Square Mall and features Bath & Body Works, Catherine’s, Dress Barn, Famous Footwear, Home Goods, Michael’s and Old Navy.
The Shoppes at Pierce Hill is the newest shopping center in Vestal with Ann Taylor Loft, Aveda, Chico’s, Coldwater Creek and Jos. A Bank.
University Plaza is located at Plaza Drive and Vestal Parkway. It features several smaller stores and restaurants, including Clintwood Healthy U, Coldstone Creamery, Five Guys Burgers and Fries, Moghul Fine Indian Cuisine, Subway and Tully’s.
Campus Plaza, together with adjacent strip malls, Olum’s (a regional furniture store), Staples, and Rite Aid, add to the variety of shopping options available on “the Parkway”.
In downtown Binghamton you will find Berger’s Ski & Snowboard Specialists, Boscov’s Department Store, The Goldsmith, a jewelry & gift store, La GiaBella, a dress shoppe, and River Read books. There are also several eateries, art galleries and other unique shops.
A collection of antiques stores that line Binghamton’s Clinton Street, also known as Antique Row, are just a few blocks from downtown.
Downtown Endicott, the Union District in Endicott, and Johnson City all offer an old-fashioned downtown shopping experience!
