Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park The zoo officially opened in 1875, and it is the fifth oldest zoological institution in the country. Exhibits include: The Rainforest Aviary, Cat Country Complex, Our Changing World and Penguin Exhibit. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Blade Sports Synthetic Ice Rink A synthetic skating rink open year round with clinics, open skating, shooting, leagues and private rink rentals. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Carousels As "Carousel Capital of the World" Greater Binghamton is home to six, restored, antique carousels. The carousels were given as a gift to the community from the Johnson family with the understanding that there never is a charge for the magical ride! Additional information: Carousels cannot operate in inclement weather. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Year round ice skating facility featuring hockey, ice-skating and figure skating. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A paint your own pottery studio where you can create lasting memories & masterpieces. There are over 200 pottery choices and no appointment is necessary. We now also offer fused glass. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A "hands on" museum for children where play and learning flow together in unique settings designed with imagination in a safe, engaging and happy atmosphere with over 22,500 square feet of family fun. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Canoe through the spectacular and historic Catskill Mountains and Susquehanna River Basin. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Finch Hollow Nature Center includes a museum building featuring 25 display cases and approximately 1 mile of trail winds through field and wooded habitats, and alongside a scenic pond. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Game it, is an all-indoor family fun center including: laser tag, mini golf, batting cage, playground and over 50 coin-op amusement games. Birthday parties and full service snack bar. Plenty of free parking, air-conditioned. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The areas only covered tee hitting area (rain or shine golf), and outdoor bent grass putting green, mini golf, golf equipment and club repair, and professional golf instruction. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NuWaka is a family fun location where you can create your own designs and print them directly on shirts, bags, scarves, skirts, leggings. Then embellish using a variety of different methods including rhinestones, fashion film and special cuts. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Year round fun (outdoor attractions are seasonal) featuring: roller skating, laser storm, the rock-climbing wall, miniature golf, and the Water Wiz water slide.
